Summary
========================================

In this release, we’ve developed the following improvements:

In Dashboards:

* You can now schedule automated email delivery of dashboard snapshots directly from Rebus.

In the Labor Module:

* The Activity Group Configuration screen is now in Labor Hub > Set Up > Advanced > Activity Groups and has been redesigned so it’s more intuitive and easier to use.  

* Various changes that make using the History tab more intuitive, reliable, and efficient.

In the management of the Rebus Employee Portal Mobile App:

* You can now export all your Associate QR codes in bulk from the Associates tab in the Labor Hub. Previously, QR codes could only be exported individually.

.. note:: |warning| If your company uses the Rebus Employee Portal Mobile App, you must use this functionality to print out the QR/bar codes *after* Release 53 is deployed. The printed codes can then be used. Due to a functionality change, all previously existing QR/bar codes will become invalid after Release 53.0.

In API Ingestion:

* In Rebus API Ingestion, you can now authenticate using OAuth 2.0 credentials instead of only API Keys, along with several other improvements. These updates support integrating with UKG, a Time and Attendance provider. 





Dashboard Improvements
============================



Dashboard Scheduled Sharing
------------------------------------------------------

You can now schedule automated email delivery of dashboard snapshots directly from Rebus. This makes it easy to email a point-in-time snapshot of a dashboard to users, who can then view the snapshot without needing to login to Rebus.

The feature lets you configure automated delivery of dashboard snapshots in PDF or PNG format directly from within the Rebus application. The delivered snapshot will represent the dashboard state at the time of generation, including applied filters and selected date ranges. Only one recurring scheduled delivery configuration is supported per dashboard.
Only the dashboard owner can currently schedule an email snapshot. 
Now when you click the Share Dashboard button on the top right of the screen, you can: 


* Choose between one-time or recurring delivery,  

* Configure scheduling parameters (frequency, days, time, time zone),

* Define one or more email recipients. 


.. note:: |info| To schedule the emailing of dashboards, you need the 'dashboardscheduler' maintenance screen code added to your user profile. Learn more about :ref:`modifying user profiles<a_profiles_assigning_screens>`.





Creating and Editing Scheduled Dashboard Snapshots
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To schedule a dashboard snapshot delivery:

1. From the dashboard you want to share, click the Share Dashboard button on the top right of the screen. A tab will open. Navigate to Schedule. 

2. Fill in the following fields: 

   1. *Schedule* - Choose the repetition frequency. For example, repeat once a week on every Monday.

   2. *Share With People* - Add the users that you want to receive the email. 


   3. *Options* - Add the subject line that will appear in the email, and optionally add a message to go with the dashboard snapshot. You can also select whether you want the snapshot attached as a PDF instead of a PNG using the toggle.

3. Click Save.


To edit an existing scheduled snapshot: 

1. From the dashboard you want to share, click the Share Dashboard button on the top right of the screen. Navigate to Schedule. The tab with the schedule details will open. 

2. From here, you can change the details of the scheduled delivery. You can also delete a scheduled delivery from the top of this tab by clicking the three dots.  

3. When you’re finished, click the Modify button to save changes. 



Subscriptions Tab
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~



To help manage deliveries, a new Subscriptions tab under User Management lets you see all active subscriptions and who's assigned to them.

You can search through the list of all subscriptions in the left panel, and delete a scheduled delivery using the 3 dots. To view the details of a subscription, select it from the list, and details (like schedule, dashboard name, frequency, Timezone, and next delivery) will appear in the right side of the screen. 

Renaming Widgets across all Dashboards Improvement
------------------------------------------------------

When you rename a widget, each dashboard that has the widget will now automatically update the widget title the next time the dashboard is opened. 

Previously, renaming a widget triggered an immediate update across every dashboard that referenced it, which could cause the system to slow down.

As part of this update, you will also no longer receive email notifications for widget renames.  



Labor Module Improvements
========================================

Activity Groups Configurations Moved to Labor Hub
------------------------------------------------------

The Activity Group Configuration screen is now in Labor Hub > Set Up > Advanced > Activity Groups and has been redesigned so it’s more intuitive and easier to use.

Among other changes, you can now:

* Easily browse all Activity Groups for your selected System and Facility

* Sort the list of Activity Groups

* View and edit the details of whichever group you select without leaving the page 

* Clone both Activity Groups and Attribute Mappings


Creating Activity Groups
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To add a new Activity Group: 

1. Click the Add Activity Group button. A popout tab opens on the right.  

2. Fill in Group Name and Group Description.

3. Select the Mapping Step. The Mapping Step indicates which step of the transaction Rebus refers to when getting the details, including start time and stop time, to populate the activity record.

4. Click the Enhanced Mapping checkbox to configure an enhanced mapping scheme instead of a simple mapping scheme when configuring your activity group.

5. Add Attribute Mappings. 

   1. Simple Mapping: Select an AUX field from the dropdown, and enter the identifying values. Each matching transaction becomes an activity.

   2. Enhanced Mapping: Select the main AUX value from the dropdown. Select the Matrix from the dropdown, then add conditions and groupings. Configuring an enhanced mapping lets you put one value each into up to 25 auxiliary fields and add conditions and groupings to define the constraints and restrictions that you want to apply to the values.

6. When you’re finished, click Save.





Editing Activity Groups
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~


When you select an existing group, you can now edit the group in a popout panel without leaving the page.

1. Click the pencil icon of the group you want to edit. 

2. Change details. You can edit the group name, description, and previously configured Attribute Mappings. You cannot change the Mapping step. 

3. When you’re done, click Save. 



Editing Attribute Mappings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Attributes section is now visible directly in the Edit popout when you click the pencil icon of an Activity Group. Mappings display with the Main AUX Value, Matrix, Vectors, and Default Value.

To edit an existing Attribute Mapping: 

1. Click the pencil icon of the Mapping you want to change. A modal window appears. 

2. Change the details of the Attribute Mapping. 

3. Click Save. 


Cloning Activity Groups
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You can now clone an existing group instead of starting from scratch. To clone an existing Activity Group: 

1. Click the More option of the group you want to clone. 

2. Click Clone. The edit panel for your newly cloned group appears. 

3. Change any details you want to modify. Saving the clone's basic details won't automatically copy attribute mappings. If you then choose to add mappings, you'll be prompted to either: 

   1. Copy attribute mappings from the original group, or

   2. Start with custom attributes and build mappings from scratch.

4. Click Save. 





Cloning Attribute Mappings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Within a group, you can also clone an individual mapping. To clone an Attribute Mapping: 

1. Click the More option on the Attribute Mapping you want to clone.

2. Click Clone to pre-fill a new mapping with the same Matrix, conditions, and Default value.

3. Choose a new Main AUX Value, since each mapping in a group must have a unique one.

4. Click Save. 



Permissions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Permissions for Activity Group Configuration have moved under the Set Up tab in the admin permissions area. Existing permission assignments carry over automatically.






Improvements to Activity Audit History Tab
------------------------------------------------------

There are several improvements added to the Activity Audit > History tab in the Labor Hub, including changes to:

*  The Date picker functionality,

*  Time formatting,

*  Inline editing,

*  Adding new events. 

These changes make using the History tab more intuitive, reliable, and efficient. 






Date Picker
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The date picker in the New Event and Mass Adjustment panels now includes a seconds selector, so you can set precise timestamps without manually typing seconds into the date text field. This improvement applies whether a grid row is pre-selected or not.

Time Format
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Time-based fields in the Activity Audit grid (e.g. Adjusted Time, Measured Time, etc.) now support column filtering in the same hr/min/sec format shown in the grid. This eliminates the need to manually convert values into seconds to get accurate results.

Additionally, CSV and XLS exports now also display time values in hr/min/sec format. 



Inline Editing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the Activity Audit History grid, you can now click any column value in a row to activate inline edit mode, rather than needing to click the checkbox specifically. The checkbox continues to work as before, and only one row can be in edit mode at a time.

If you click a second row, you will lose any unsaved changes on the first and activate the new selection. 



New Events
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Supervisors can now add a new activity record directly from the Table Action Bar on the Labor Hub History tab, without opening the full New Event side panel. 

When you click New Event, a single draft row is inserted at the top of the grid for one associate at a time, and immediately opens editing on the Associate field. Once you click save, the record is created and the grid refreshes with the new entry. 

Multi-associate creation is still only available through the existing New Event side panel.




Associate Group Editing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Supervisors can now edit the Associate Group field directly in Activity History. Previously, if an associate was placed in the wrong group, there was no way to fix it after the fact, which led to inaccurate reporting.

Now, Associate Group is editable right in the Transactions grid, and changes are saved automatically. This lets Supervisors correct group misassignments on their own.






Rebus Employee Portal Mobile App Improvements
==================================================



Bulk Exporting Associate QR Codes
------------------------------------------------------

You can now export all your Associate QR/barcodes in bulk from the Associates tab in the Labor Hub. Previously, QR/bar codes could only be exported individually.

You can export in bulk using the Export dropdown at the top right of the screen. The system generates a printable sheet with Associate IDs shown with both QR codes and Barcodes for each. 


Improvements - API Ingestion
==============================


Ability to Integrate with UKG Time and Attendance
------------------------------------------------------

In Rebus API Ingestion, you can now authenticate using OAuth 2.0 credentials instead of only API Keys, along with several other improvements. API Ingestion now supports:

*  OAuth 2.0 authentication,

*  POST/PUT requests with JSON request bodies,

*  A new MySQL output destination alongside MongoDB.

These updates support integrating with UKG, a Time and Attendance provider. Polls & Flows functionality assumes data to live in MySQL so, previously, getting UKG data there required a custom setup for each customer, which was a slow process and hard to maintain.

Now, Rebus can authenticate to UKG with OAuth 2.0, send the POST/PUT requests UKG's API requires, handle its array-style responses, and insert the results directly into MySQL. Custom integration is no longer needed.


Configuring a UKG OAuth 2.0 Source
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An OAuth 2.0 source refers to an API source that's configured to authenticate using the OAuth 2.0 protocol rather than a simple API key. It lets Rebus securely obtain access to another system's (UKG's) data, without directly handling or storing the end user's actual login credentials. 


Prequisite
+++++++++++++

You must have already obtained UKG OAuth 2.0 credentials (Username, Password, Client ID, Client Secret, and Realm) directly from UKG before you begin. 

Steps
+++++++++++

To configure a UKG OAuth 2.0 source:


1. From the Rebus Menu, go to Admin Tools > Polls & Flows > API Ingestion. 

2. Go to the API Sources tab and click Add Source.

3. Navigate to the Advanced tab.

4. Check the new UKG OAuth 2.0 checkbox.

5. Five credential fields will appear:

*  **Username:** The account identifier for the UKG user or service account being used to authenticate.

*  **Password:** The password associated with the username. 

*  **Client ID:** The unique public identifier generated when you registered your app or service account in your UKG developer console or tenant settings.

*  **Client Secret:** A confidential key paired with the Client ID that proves the requesting application's identity to UKG.

*  **Realm:** The specific security domain, namespace, or tenant environment identifier used by UKG's single sign-on/identity provider to route your authentication request to the correct database.

All 5 fields are required when creating a new OAuth source. All information is encrypted once entered. 

6. When you are finished, click Save. 





Editing an Existing OAuth Source
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++


To change a value, type a new value into that field only. The other fields will remain unchanged. Each stored credential field displays a placeholder rather than the real value. Leave a field as the placeholder to keep its existing stored value. Then click Save to save your changes.






POST/PUT request
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

API Ingestion previously only supported GET requests, which limited you to sending parameters through the URL. POST and PUT lets you send a request body, which is a requirement for UKG's authentication flow and similar integrations.



Prequisite
+++++++++++++

Know the target API's endpoint URL, required HTTP method (POST or PUT), and expected request body fields.

Steps
+++++++++++

To configure a POST or PUT request:

1. From the Rebus Menu, go to Admin Tools > Polls & Flows > API Ingestion. Go to the API Sources tab.

2. Select the source you want to work with. 

3. Click the Add Request button. Go to the General tab.

4. Use the new HTTP Method dropdown to select POST, PUT or GET.

5. Selecting POST or PUT opens two new sections:

*  Body Params: where you can define your body fields as a key/type grid. 

.. note:: |info| Reminder: API authentication headers use key-value pairs, which is a data structure where an identifier (the key) is associated with data (the value).

Body Params also introduces a new JSON datatype, which accepts any valid JSON value (an object, an array of strings, etc.). URL Params does not have this datatype. Using JSON for a single body parameter gives you full flexibility to write whatever body shape you want when building the flow.

* Body Template: a JSON text area where you write the body shape using {{key}} placeholders. Each placeholder must correspond to a key you declared in Body Params.

.. note:: |info| Under the Data section, Paste Response lets you provide a sample API response so API Ingestion can map its fields for you. It now supports responses that return an array of objects at the top level, which is how many APIs, including UKG’s, return data. Previously only a single JSON object at the top level was supported.


6. Save the request. 

Providing Values in a Data Flow
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

1. Next, navigate to the Data Flow tab. Click the Add Flow button. 

2. Fill in the details on the General tab and select the API source from the dropdown list of your configured API sources.

3. In the Mapping tab, add a request. Click Set Input. Here, you'll see a new Body Placeholder Values grid.

* The Key column is automatically populated from the Request's configured Body Params.

* Fill in the Value column for each key.

4. As you fill in values, the Request Body Preview panel updates live, showing the assembled JSON.

All keys must have values filled in.

Sending Results to a MySQL Database
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

API Ingestion can now insert results into a MySQL database, in addition to MongoDB. This allows API request data to be available to Polls & Flows without a custom one-off integration.



Prequisite
+++++++++++++

Unlike MongoDB, which creates a new collection automatically, MySQL requires the destination table to already exist with a matching schema. Before running a flow into MySQL, make sure the table and its columns are set up ahead of time.


Steps
+++++++++++

To use MySQL as your destination:

1. Navigate to the Data Flow tab and open the flow's Mapping tab.

2. When setting up where the data goes, choose MySQL as the destination instead of MongoDB.

3. Under Set Outputs, choose the fields you want saved. These fields are what gets inserted into your MySQL table.

This setting is still used for chaining request outputs and inputs, which was its original purpose. For MySQL, it now also determines what fields go into the MySQL tables.

Bug Fixes
================


* Activity Reprocess - Default Time Measurement persists into reprocess without saving configuration.

* Account Information - Country field is displayed as optional but is validated as required when info updated.

* Activity Audit, Coaching - Associate ID and First Name sorting is not applied correctly in Associates dropdown.
